Webcomics en todas partes!
Since I started my webcomic , Nothing policy, by various means have come increasingly into contact with a titipuchal of webcomics. The first thing I saw was The Bulb , Bachan, followed immediately by Exquisite Corpse ... and I was surprised to make cartoons that level. Names like Humberto Ramos, Edgar Clement, Pato Betteo or Tony Sandoval, apart from Bachan, were added to a project of great freshness and dynamism, he caught me. Right there on the site Balazo, also began publishing The Muertito Sabroson a toon version of the corpse, and the amount of high-level cartoonists again surprised me.
From the first contact with the shots, I started looking for individual projects of all these authors, and besides that, through their links to find more and more strips made by Mexicans (which I'm not listing here, but can be found in the bar tools, right and down, in my webcomic ), and the plain truth, I was very surprised the diversity of topics and styles, which contrasts sharply with the supply of printed comic (which is almost everything the U.S., the know). Refreshing and extremely fun.
I found people who can give you a you for the great cartoonists of the U.S., people with the ability to write hilarious dialogue, people can write about things apparently boring and still find interesting ways to display ... in short, that I hope that each of these authors succeed in making the transition from mono elusive digital compendium paper, the Holy Grail of the cartoonists.
Publication traditional in method, expressed as 1) to draw 50 or 100 pages, to create a graphic novel, 2) finding a publisher to publish your story, 3) remove the advertising market and a work and author unknown and 4 ) to pray for it to work and sold, I think it is not very viable. In that sense, I admit that I think the business model that has better possibilities of future development is to 1) publish on the network, 2) achieve together a group of faithful fans history and 3) and with that material under his arm, looking for a publisher and publish a compendium and tied to that market. This is the route that can still perfectly with a webcomic, and that at the time, I hope go well.
